Substance use disorder is a national public health crisis. Almost one in ten Americans are addicted to drugs or alcohol.
Cocaine, opioid pain relievers and marijuana are the three most common drugs that cause addiction. The prevalence
of alcohol abuse is significant as two-thirds of those with a substance use disorder also abuse alcohol.
